TYPE 4 1935 - 1940, GIRL SCOUT MEMBERSHIP PIN
1/20 10k GOLD,  My Favorite Design
(In My Opinion,) … this is the most beautiful of all the dozens of membership pin variations.  All of the Type 4 pins have held up wonderfully and the details are the most distinct even after EIGHTY-FIVE YEARS.  The stars are larger and stand out, the arrows are distinct and different in that they are
all the same length
.  The neck and tail feathers are clear as are all the other details.  The GOLD CONTENT is clearly marked on the back of this particular pin as, “1/20-10K” (
Solid Gold, NOT Filled.
)  It is also slightly larger measuring approximately 21.32 mm X 22.9 mm (instead of 20.7mm X 21.5 mm.)  NOTE:  I HAVE NOT CLEANED THIS PIN.  If you are a regular customer, you will know that I highly prefer the patina.  (If you want this cleaned, just let me know when you pay and I will do so.)  Wonderful GIFT to the Collector or Historian!  This pin is MUSEUM QUALITY.
