Vintage Cast Iron Horse Head/Shoe Plaque

Description

This is a painted cast iron plaque that is unmarked.
It measures approximately 5 ¼” in length and 4 ½” in width and features a brownish-red horseshoe shape and a buff-colored horse head.
A worn and unreadable gold and red foil banner is also on the face of the plaque.
This vintage plaque is in fair condition with overall wear to the paint, banner and damage to the rope-shaped hanger at the top of the plaque.
Despite these flaws this is a rare treasure from the past and would make a handsome addition to any equestrian or cast iron collection.
